Infect them all: zombies review

Hey guys David here, since the walking dead won't be available again until February I still needed to get my zombie fix so I took to the App Store today to see what I could find.  Actually I looked up the walking dead and I ran across this game called infect them all zombies edition, they also have infect them all vampire edition as well. They have three different types of levels campaign, Survival, and blitz but in order to get to survival on Blitz you have to at least infect 1000 humans. So I took to the campaign just to see how hard it would be to infect 1000 humans.

It was easy to get the feel of the game There were two types of control options. you can use tilt by moving your device left and right to move the zombie or using the on screen joy-pad. I stuck with the joy-pad because it was easier for me.  You start off being the only zombie and have different humans/survivors walking around out there and you can either choose to eat or Bite them.  Eating them builds your health back up.  If you just bite them they will turn into a zombie themselves and help you take out the rest of the survivors.  My strategy was to bite as many as I can before the survivors start fighting back and by then hopefully there would be too many of us!!   The round ends once all survivors are dead or zombies.

Also as you progress through the levels you can upgrade your characters health, speed, damage, armor, eating, recovery, endurance. Me personally I went for speed which worked out pretty well for me.  As you go into higher levels the difficulty increases to keep you challenged, new enemies are introduced with different attacks.  This game is great for a time killer and you can pick up right at the level you left off.

My finals thoughts on the game
  1. PROS
    1. fun and easy to play
    2. 99 cents on the app store
    3. good time killer not to intensive
    4. 3 different game modes plus a bonus infinity campaign
  2. CONS
    1. background music is one song and gets annoying quick (can be muted)
    2. Repetitive after a while
I give it 3 out of 5 stars.  Easily a buy-able game.
